About
There are times in life when things can feel overwhelming. You may be struggling with relationships, feeling low, anxious or emotionally exhausted, or finding yourself reacting in ways you don't fully understand. When life feels unmanageable, it can be difficult to know where to turn. You don't have to face it alone.
At Hear to Help, we provide a warm, compassionate and confidential space where you can talk openly, explore what has been happening, and begin to make sense of your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Together, we can help you untangle difficult emotions, gain greater self-awareness, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
We are professionally qualified integrative counsellors who work in a humanistic and collaborative way, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Transactional Analysis to tailor therapy to your individual needs. We offer face-to-face counselling in our peaceful garden rooms in Crayford and Dartford, as well as online and telephone sessions, allowing you to access support in the way that feels most comfortable.

We have extensive experience supporting people with anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, traumatic life events, addiction, autism and ADHD, and we welcome clients of all ages.
We are also pleased to offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapy in Dartford with Jennie, providing an evidence-based approach for processing trauma and other distressing experiences.

Alongside our counselling work, we are both qualified Clinical Supervisors, offering supportive, reflective supervision to counsellors and other helping professionals.
Our aim is to provide a safe, encouraging environment where practitioners can develop their confidence, deepen their practice, and feel supported in their work.
Whatever brings you to therapy, we are here to walk alongside you with warmth, understanding and respect. At Hear to Help, we believe that with the right support, it is possible to gain clarity, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Sophie
Alongside my private practice at Hear to Help, I currently work as a counsellor and clinical supervisor in a local hospice, supporting patients, carers and those who have been bereaved through some of life's most difficult times. I have also worked within a community-based counselling service, where I have supported clients experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, low mood, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, trauma and a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent 12 years working with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and behavioural needs. This experience gave me a deep understanding of the challenges that individuals and families can face, as well as the importance of patience, empathy and building trusting relationships.
I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor and enjoy supporting fellow counsellors in their professional development by providing a reflective, collaborative and supportive supervision space.
I believe that every person has their own unique story, and I strive to create a warm, welcoming and non-judgemental environment where you feel safe to explore whatever is bringing you to counselling. Together, we can work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, helping you gain insight, build resilience and move towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.

Alongside my work at Hear to Help, I work as a counsellor and clinical supervisor in a local children's hospice, supporting parents, carers and loved ones through some of life's most challenging experiences. I also have previous experience working within an adult hospice, providing therapeutic support to patients, carers and those who have been bereaved. This has given me extensive experience in both pre- and post-bereavement counselling.
In addition, I have worked within an addiction rehabilitation centre, supporting individuals experiencing addiction and helping them work towards lasting recovery. My experience also includes working for a local counselling service, where I have supported clients with anxiety, depression, low mood, domestic abuse, body image concerns, relationship difficulties, trauma and a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
I am an accredited counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), a qualified EMDR therapist, and a qualified Clinical Supervisor. Alongside my integrative counselling approach, I offer EMDR therapy to help clients process trauma and other distressing life experiences in a safe and supportive way.
I believe every person is unique, and I am passionate about creating a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood and accepted. My aim is to work alongside you at your own pace, helping you make sense of your experiences, develop resilience and move towards the changes that matter most to you.
